My journey through 90’s Rolex continues so I’m offering for sale my 1990 Rolex Submariner 16610. In good overall condition with beautifully aged tritium dial. Has been polished in the past but lugs etc remain sharp. The tritium dial attracted me to this watch as the patina is just beautiful, but alas, I’ve bought another and can only justify keeping on. This is the cheapest 16610 I can find in the UK.

Details:
Price: £6450 Reduced to £5995 GBP, net to me.
Shipping: UK included, RoW at cost, usually via DHL Express with Secursus insurance.
Watch is in UK.
No returns unless misdescribed.

Dial:
The star of the show. Factory original tritium dial in excellent condition, with applied hour markers. Absolutely no marks or damage. The tritium has aged to a beautiful custard yellow patina which really looks stunning.
Tritium hands are lighter than the hour plots.

Case:
Original stainless steel, ‘holes’ case in good overall condition. E serial (1990). Has been polished in the past, most noticeably on the crown guards. Nevertheless, the brushed and polished surfaces are clear, the edges are sharp and there it minimal cratering to the lugs holes. Serial and reference numbers perfectly visible.
This has been my daily for a while so I had it pressure tested in May this year (passed).

Bezel:
Original Rolex flat 4 bezel with tritium lume pip. Good overall condition, scratch at 55.
Bezel edges are nice and sharp, not over polished or rounded off.

Movement:
Rolex 3135 movement with date. Service history unknown but all functions work as they should. The crown is a bit sticky when winding.

Bracelet:
Original 93150 Oyster bracelet with correct 501b Endlinks and dive extension. P clasp code dating 1991. Eleven links in total.
In very good condition, nice and tight with clear and sharp coronet on clasp. Fits my 7.5” wrist at its max length.

Bump. Open to offers or maybe a trade (cash either way) for other 90’s Rolex, Heuer Camaro or vintage Speedmasters.

I think it’s a nice time to take a tour of the British Isles.
