Hi

SOLD is my superb 1977 Omega Speedmaster ST186.0004 1620 LCD

IMG_8144_zpsd4aae198.jpg

This is one of the rarest Omega Speedmasters ever made, an LCD variation under reference ST186.0004. Produced in 1977 and only made for around 18 months with a very low Production run.

This watch is the most desirable of Omegas LCD range as it was the only version to share the case design of the famous Omega Speedmaster moon watch

The watch is in fantastic condition with only some minor wear marks to the rear of the lugs from the bracelet endlinks. The watch has recently been fully refinished by Swiss Time Services, the UK’s official vintage restoration centre which included the replacement of the crystal and the case very lightly refurbished complete with a fresh set of batteries.

The watch has been checked by STS and is working perfectly

The watch is presented on the correct & refinished original Omega bracelet (will fit a 7.5inch wrist) and correct original Omega box & 1620 Speedmaster Instruction manual (Burgundy racing strap not included).

Condition:

Case: Superb with no loss of profile and only light wear marks to rear of the lugs
Bezel: Superb
Crystal: Mint
Movement: Excellent and functioning correctly, including the light
Case back: Superb with clear hippocampus
Strap: Bracelet excellent
Box and Instructions: Near perfect box and excellent original (German) 1620 Instruction Manual.

The watches movement is cal 1620, not to be confused in any way shape or form with modern LCD movements. This movement has a circa 5 SPM accuracy as a result of a high quality 32Khz quartz resonator. The functions on the watch (which all work as they should) include:

• Time/hour/minutes/seconds and day of week
• 1/100 second chronograph able to accumulate to 0.1 seconds off 24 hrs
• Split second chronograph
• Lap time
• Split/Stop of 2 consecutive times
• Separately power light (working as it should)
• Calendar programmed for leap year

This really is a special watch, there where very few of this type of Omega Speedmaster Professional made and even fewer have survived in this condition and functioning correctly.

I am looking for a firm £875 SOLD including RMSD , payment via BT or Paypal (+4%), the price is reflective of the rarity of the piece, the condition and also the fact it has recently been fully checked & refinished by Omega UK.
