For your consideration is an Excellent condition 1974 Tudor Day Date "Cotton Bowl" Coaches award watch. This extremely rare watch is one of ten examples given to coaching staff and is a different dial configuration than the players watch version. The case is thick and has been previously polished, serial 692XXX, dial is very clean. Watch is running smooth and service history is unknown.

Nebraska's Cornhuskers shook off the humiliation inflicted by Oklahoma in the season finale and a stunning Texas goal-line stand to rip the mighty Longhorns, 19-3, in the 1974 Cotton Bowl game. This watch from Bill Myers was one of the most important figures as he was Assistant Coach so very cool connection indeed!
