Been offered this which fills a gap in the collection at what seems a reasonable price. 145002-74. It’s seems ok apart from lume loss on hands which I guess I get stabilised or relumed. Are the pushers a bit large?
What do we think about this? It’s on 1171 bracelet with 633 end links.

Pushers should be 5mm diameter and look correct to me.
There are a few versions of 1171/633. The original had the logo in a trapezoid I believe. See below

Except for the hands, that's a nice looking one.

I agree, the hands are messy, but the rest is fine...go for it!

Didn't the very first 1171s have a raised logo?

633 end link inscription should be engraved and not lasered

Nice one, like the stepped dials.

    Shouldn’t this be the step?

Personally I'm not a fan. It looks ok but it's not particularly attractive with the greenish lume, matte/worn bezel and very 'flat' looking dial.

The individual pieces don't sit well together for me.

    What are your thoughts?

OP’s watch is correct for a -74 with NO step on the dial. The step all Speedmaster fans are talking about is the step surrounding the hour/minute markers, like stated above. The -74 reference was the first to not have the steps, and the steps are only found on earlier iterations.

@JanV: I do not agree, my 74-er Speedmaster is original and has this stepped dial. See also this ref and underlying quote:
