Up for sale is a 1974 Rolex Explorer II Reference 1655 MK2 Dial.
DIAL/HANDS: Beautiful mint condition MK2 dial with lovely matching yellow tritium Patina on the hr markers and hands. Correct silver open 6 and 9s date wheel. Dial shows no chips around the rehault and no scratches on the dial. Original matching Albino GMT hand is perfect.
CASE: A healthy crown guard and a nice even case shows light signs of polishing.
Serial and reference numbers are crisp and well defined between the lugs:
Serial number: 3.9 mil circa 1974. "1655"
Case Back is stamped 1655 and shows past service inscriptions.Original bezel shows minimal ware with no major dings.
MOVEMENT: Rolex caliber 1570 is clean and running COSC.
BRACELET: Earlier 7836 Folded link Oyster bracelet with 280 endlinks shows minimal stretch. Clasp stamped 4.71.
