Offering here a clean black dialed 7006-6010 - IMO having a fun 1970s groove without going over the top. Simply clearing out to many watches. Full service by Jerry at Jerry's Watch Repair in Seattle. I had him replace the faceted crystal with a standard Seiko crystal - I found the facets to be too much and made it hard to fully appreciate the dial (unfortunately, the faceted crystal has disappeared). 39mm diameter side to side not including crown. The dial is interesting, with different presentations in different aspects - sometimes glossy, with very slight vertical striations. Also, the red chapter markers are great. Fun detail of thumbnail chamfer at crown, enabling crown to be partially recessed.
Hands relumed. Made in June 1972 (per the seiko serial calculator) at the Daini factory. Running like a champ. The day advances using the forward wind/midnight technique; the date advances with the crown in 2nd position winding backward. Includes existing black leather band as well as cool stainless original band. Please consider photos to be part of description. $300 US plus shipping, in US - you would be getting the watch for the cost of the service.
