    Hey guys,

Looking at potentially purchasing at what I believe is a No Nasa 71 Speedmaster. Everything else looks legit however worn, but was just wondering on your thoughts on this caseback?

Currently no inside caseback photos, and trying to tell if this is the correct C1 caseback as per MWO. Seller also states that serial number is within the 3219-3220XXXX range, but will confirm all with photos on monday (hopefully)

    What do you guys think?

    Cheers!

According to the mwo book, the non NASA 145.022-71 with c1 case back has movement numbers in the range of 32192xxx - 32204xxx. :)

Can't really tell if it's a low or high border from the pics (looks low to me which is a the correct one?)

What’s the inside of the caseback look like. That’s super important.

I think that No NASA 71s are worth a premium only to a collector who is looking for one. I'm not sure that prices are that high, it's just that they're very very difficult to find. And if you ask me, they're pretty cool as well

They come up so rarely in such different conditions... I’d say equivalent straight writing + 5-10%. I know the straight writings are -69’s and the no Nasa is a -71.

Because it looks great, it looks well used and white hands aged to rather nice creamy color :)

What's going on with this one? It keeps being sold, taken down, relisted for auction. Now it is back up for auction. Reputable seller or people are monkeying around with him?

    Speedmaster101 lists “Good” at $7300.

Has anyone started a “registry” for basic info to help determine serial # range and how many exist? Would be interesting since this was a short run and not commonly seen.

I think he had no idea what he was selling at first, and the more people poked and asked questions began to realize what it was. The first listing was an auction starting at $2500. When I messaged him shortly after it first was listed, he said he had 4 offers of at least $4000, at which point it appeared he edited the listing to be $3500 and opened it up for offers. Now it seems he’s getting a little excited and upping the price... not that I don’t think he’ll get it, I think he’s learning what he had.
