·Hello Folks
Up for sale is this Omega Speedmaster 145.022-69 with a production date of August 26 1971. Sent to the Simon Freese Spa for service in September of 2020 it still has some time on it's 12 month warranty.
It is sold head only but will include a nice Gas Gas Bones NASA style velcro cuff for the aspiring astronaut in you.
Extract of the Archives shows the production date stated with delivery to the United Kingdom in 1971. The document has been misplaced but I have photos of it and will endeavour to locate it upon sale. Movement number is 31,629,965 with the 861 movement.
Watch functions as it should with the chronometer functional and resetting to zero.
The case shows some age and appears unpolished with the brushed sides still visible. Some light dings but no major damage. All components seem original, correct crown and pushers, very nice DNN bezel and original crystal.
The dial has some print loss at the bottom "T SWISS MADE T"with the letters AD missing completely. The dial itself appears slightly more matte and shows signs of lightening. The lume had darkened and there was some loss that Simon Freese filled in to match the original colour.
Asking for £3600 shipped in the UK. Happy to ship worldwide as well with shipping available on quote.
