Up for sales is a 1970s Zenith Port Royal Day-Date, high beat movement Cal 34.6 (based ETA 2837 http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&0&2uswk&ETA_2837). I grabbed this on ebay earlier this year, sent it in for a service by a local watchmaker in mid Sep, just got it back yesterday. The watch case is really sharp and well preserved, and it's running well. The only reason why I am posting this sales post is because it is the odd one in my mostly-alarm-watch vintage collection, so I thought maybe it could find a better home on OF.

Dimension (according to my caliper)
10.08 mm lug width
48.46 mm lug-to-lug including bracelet end links that doesn't bend all the way down
34.91 mm side-to-side width (it's almost rectangular)
10.71 mm thick

Dial: applied indices, slate blue/grey matte dial with day-date at 6 o'clock position. Chamfered hands, slight oxidation marks on hands. There is a slight dirt mark next to 3 o'clock mark.

Case: the case maintains its original shape, super sharp, I don't think the case has ever been polished. The bracelet maintains the edges too, but from the way it reflects light, I can argue that it has at least seen some shirt-polishing. The photos and video will show.

Movement: I just got it back from service, unfortunately the old watchmaker I frequent doesn't provide invoice (he's like... age of my grandpa), nor does he take movement pics. As this watch as a monocoque case, I don't have the skill to take it apart and put it back (especially, putting back). It is running at about +10s a day, but YMMV. I got the watchmaker to write a note on the back of his name card as a documentation of history, but I won't argue that as a proof of service as it's not a proper receipt.

I should mention that the crown is stiff when manually winding it. It could be turned, but feels really tight. I have my watchmaker check that out and he said it's not a problem. now I am not sure if it's an intended design, but for anyone who are interested, this needs to be pointed out. The automatic winding mechanism works perfectly though

The bracelet is current sized for my 17cm wrist, with buckle adjustment pin at 5th hole (2mm length between each hole) and 2 additional links (5mm length for each link). The means, the bracelet could fit up to a 19cm wrist.

Price: 900 USD (was 950 USD) + 50% of shipping cost, happy to take PayPal G&S if you have a ton of reference, otherwise I would prefer bank wire, Transferwise, or PayPal F&F. Shipping method is entirely up to you, we can split that shipping cost. No returns unless the watch is grossly misrepresented.

As always, open to offer. But not open to trade at the moment.

Watch and I are in Singapore. F2F deal welcomed. International buyer welcomed

Wow that is beautiful. I love it. Sadly, it won’t make sense in my small collection, but it’s hard to take my eyes away from it. Best of luck!
