Hi all,
up for grabs today my quite unusual Seamaster Chronometer from 1970, ref. 168.034.
I found this one locally last fall, had it serviced just after the purchase and since then very sparingly worn.
On the other hand, having bought three watches in the last month, I need to part with something I don't wear.

Getting into details:

38x41mm stainless steel case appears to be untouched, retaining its radial brushed finish on front of the case and bezel. Hippocampus on the back is clear and unpolished, no scratches or dings. Original crown, original crystal with logo in the middle and typical "baguette" cyclops has a scratch at 2, otherwise in good condition. 22mm lug width.

Original, charming silver "sparkly" dial has a spot on the edge between 11 and 12, hardly noticeable wearing the watch, otherwise in very nice condition. Hands set original, daydate at 3, italian language day wheel.

High quality inhouse automatic 751 movement, a chronometer grade movement caliber adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, was completely overhauled by my trusty watchmaker in december 2021 -although I have no receipt- and keeps excellent time. Quickset date mechanism works as it should, manual winding is smooth.
2909xxxx serial number dates back the watch to circa 1970.

Watch comes on a very good quality leather Joseph Bonnie rally black band, soft and almost new, similar to the one that fitted this model on the 1970 Omega Official Catalogue.

Please ask me for any doubt about the watch. I will reply as fast as possible: via mp here, email f[email protected] or whatsapp +393473071828

Watch and me are located in Rome, Italy. I'm asking 895 euros shipped with tracking code and ensured with Secursus everywhere within EU. Overseas transactions are welcome with shipping costs and modality to be decided with buyer.
Bank wire strongly preferred, a face to face in Rome is obviously possible.

I have some good feedbacks so far on OF at the following link, but plenty of references from other international fora and ebay to provide if needed:

Before pics, thanks a lot OF for the opportunity and thanks you all for looking.
