Within now and a few weeks I am in New York. I am just wondering, does anyone know some good stores here with Speedmasters from 1970-1978 (and movement 145.022) for sale?

I would try Deco jewellers on 5th beside Bryent park they have a good selection.

 

All of Aaron Faber's stock is online. So you could check without going to 5th Avenue...

 

If you were looking for something hard-to-find, I could understand visiting a dealer in person. However, good examples of the reference you're looking for are readily available at any time all over the internet, including on the OF sales fora. In this case, I think you will find a much better selection online, and probably for a better price.
