Offered up for sale is my 1969 BA145022-69 – 18kt Gold Speedmaster. Limited to 1014 pieces, this is the original “Limited Edition” Speedmaster. I was going to hold onto this, but it is taking up a good chunk of the watch fund and I just don’t wear it enough to justify keeping it. I have owned and enjoyed it for approximately 2 years. The watch comes with a copy of the old style archive papers indicating a production of December 1969 and delivery to Switzerland. The watch features the original gold dial – OM Swiss Made OM - in very good condition with a beautiful and clean service DNN burgundy 18kt gold bezel. ****I am now able to also offer it with a genuine 1969 DON 18kt burgundy faded bezel in addition to the 18kt DNN bezel (2 bezels - DNN + DON). The price has been updated accordingly.**** The original 18kt case appears strong. Some minor tarnishing in 2 spots which can be cleaned. The original 18kt 1116/575 bracelet is in excellent bracelet with some stretch. The bracelet is just over 5.75 inches long, which means the watch should fit just under a 7.5 inch wrist. I never wore it with the bracelet, personally. Accessories – Archives only + light brown Bulang & Sons JPM strap w Gold colored buckle as pictured. Asking [REDUCED] $45,750 shipped via wire. I am happy to sell without either bezel and price adjusted accordingly. Considering all trade offers, but would primarily be looking to trade this one down. Thanks for looking!
UPDATE and Bump. With some help, I've been able to track down an original 18kt bezel for the watch, which I can now offer with the watch. I'm in no rush to sell, but realize it can take some time to find the right buyer. The ad/price have been updated accordingly to reflect the added 1969 DON bezel. I am happy to sell with or without the bezel.
That’s a birth year grail for me, but funds are tight at the moment. So unless you’d like a spare kidney (the kids don’t need 2!), I’ll say GLWS.
