1969 Omega Constellation 168.029 Linen (Guilloche) Dial Gold Capped (2024 Service)

Background

For your consideration, a 1969 C-Shape Constellation that I lovingly refer to as my "beater Connie". If you're not familiar with the C-Shapre (168.019 and .029), scour this forum (many threads) and head over to Desmond's for a wonderful essay on the model. The bezels are said to be solid gold, as is the brilliant Observatory medallion on the case back. The case has a nice thick 20mm gold cap. The 28 million sn dates the cal. 751 to 1969.

This is my second C-Shape and I picked it up to have a "wear anywhere" version. I bought it ugly and embraced the cosmetic issues whilst having the chronometer cal. 751 repaired and serviced. The service in 2024 included a new set spring for the pull-to-set date (works great!) and Omega gasket (receipt below). Timegrapher photo below as well. I'm happy to send videos of operation, etc...

It is looking for a new home only because I have too many similar-shaped Omegas with a recent arrival from this forum and I'm simply not wearing this one (Seamaster sparkle dial is getting a lot of wrist time...).

The cosmetic condition issues include the following and please be advised that this is worn and loved watch that has lived. it isn't perfect or flawless and it wasn't someone's dresser queen. If you need more photos or videos, please ask.
1) Genuine Omega crystal has cracks and could be replaced.
2) Staining on left side of dial (like it was partially exposed to sun for years).
3) Gold cap missing from end of original crown.
4) Case as shown with wear and scratches.
5) Hands have lost some lume and paint.

Price & Logistics:
Offered at a negotiable price of $1250 CAD or equivalent in USD or EUR + shipping (I'll cover the first CAD50 of shipping).
Payment by etransfer (Canada), PPFF, Wise, cash or CAD, USD or EUR wire.

Happy to ship at buyer's expense (I'll cover the first CAD50) using courier or Canada Post, tracked and full value insured. Buyer responsible for any duties or customs. Will also consider F2F in specific parts of Toronto (schlepping around this place is a PITA).

My OF feedback is here, Canadian Watch Collector feedback in photo below (private forum) and I've sold 100+ watches and parts on eBay with 100% positive feedback. No returns unless grossly misrepresented.
