I'm not an expert on these but from my study I believe this to be an original factory model and not a conversion. This watch has a chapter ring and the conversions generally have the indices printed on the crystal.
I recently installed a new battery, it runs and keeps time well - maybe a few seconds fast every month or so.
The case and crystal are in very good to excellent condition, the bracelet is currently sized for a approximately 7.5 inch or 190mm wrist with room to expand on the clasp. Case is 34mm by 39mm in size and holds a model 214 tuning fork movement.
The $600 US price includes PayPal fees (PayPal is my preferred payment method) and insured shipping in the CONUS. International shipping can be negotiated. The watch is located in Savannah GA.
These are really fun watches, kids love to hear the hum and the exposed electronics are conversation starters.
