I purchased a seamaster 120 the other day. It came with the original outer box, original red box, embossed guarentee card with serial number and personal information, original purchase receipt dated 5 Dec 1970 (my birth year) and Omega service receipt dated 2003. Serial number dates this 120 to 1968 and must have sat for quite awhile before it sold in 1970. Serial number matches on all paperwork with the movement. Even came on an unworn Omega leather strap with buckle. I suspect this was added during the Omega service in 2003? Running great the last few days and t he watch looks all original to me, has the correct hands, acrylic crystal with symbol, bezel, dial, crown, and case. This forum is full of knowledeable people, let me know what you think.

I paid $3500, maybe I overpaid but to me it is one of my favourite watch purchases.

Edited the thread title to provide a better description.

Nice find! I own the same exact 166.027, it's refreshing to see it as a full set! Good luck finding the original bracelet, I have yet to do so lol

Thanks! I ended up purchasing the US Holzer until I can find an original. I'm guessing that's going to be awhile.

By the way, it would'nt surprise me if you could sell this again for $ 3500.

Absolutely. Happily calling DIBS. 😁

Great find, @casonj2003 ! I am sure you’ll find the matching bracelet in due time.

Congrats for your purchase! Full sets deserve always a premium, so I really don't think you overpaid for it.

Very very cool. As far as Omega goes I always have thought these were under appreciated and overshadowed by the big guns

That is a great find, what a beautiful watch. I like that you have the one with the 565/date movement. You only remember the purchase price when the watch is not what it is supposed to be. Enjoy this beautiful watch and forget the financial part.
