Hi OF members, For sale is a 1968 Longines Caliber 285. It is a manual winding in-house Longines movement with 17 jewels, shock protection, semi-quickset date function. Dial is very clean and has a stunning sunburst pattern from 6 o'clock. The watch was invoiced on May 16, 1968 according to the Longines Records Division. Serial is in the 13,9 million range. Case size is 35mm excluding crown and 42mm long. It takes 18mm straps. Functions perfectly. Some very light scuffs as seen in pictures. Overall in excellent condition. Includes crocodile-embossed black genuine leather strap in the last picture (not the matte leather strap). Please pardon the fingerprints and dust.
