·This beauty might be for sale, if the right buyer pops up. It is a completely original 1968 pré-Synchron Sub 300T in outstanding condition. It is the European 'metres' version which I bought directly from the first owner, a retired Austrian diver. Short summary: it is untouched and fully original, it runs well, the crown screws well, the bezel clicks perfectly and the original Beads of Rice bracelet is in excellent condition.

Case, caseback, bezel, crystal and crown
Full stainless steel case, unpolished, in very nice shape with sharp lines and radial brushing nicely visible. Some normal scratches but nothing major. The screw-down crown is the original one. The flat crystal as well, it has slight scratches as you can see in the pictures. I left it untouched. Nice screw caseback with clearly visible ref and serial numbers. The bezel clicks perfectly, it is in very nice condition without dents or similar.
Bracelet
The original Beads of Rice bracelet is outstanding. The original 7720-10 endlinks fit beautifully. The two expanding links work as a charm. The clasp with diver extension shuts beautifully. Note, I have shortened the bracelet to fit wrists of 16-19/20cm. The two extra links are delivered along with the watch.
Hands and dial
Stunning orange dial with gorgeous yellow colored tritium. The dial is in perfect untouched condition, no scratches or similar blemishes. The black hands are wonderful and the tritium shows a darker patina, as seen commonly on these refs. All tritium is verified by UV light and fully original.
Caliber and service
The ETA 2783 automatic runs beautifully. The service history is unknown to me, but the watch is structurally sound, and runs at less than 1 min deviation per day. Winding goes smoothly. Date flips over perfectly. NOTE: I have no movement picture at this stage as I cannot open the case myself. If there is a serious buyer that really needs this picture, it can be arranged through my watchmaker.
Returns are of course allowed if I misrepresented the watch or the condition.
