1967 Seiko Bell-Matic bought in Japan

    Here is my first watch, given to me by my parents after a trip to Japan in 1967. I wore the heck out of this watch. It's never been opened or serviced and still works perfectly even though I have not worn it in 30 years.

    I plan on putting on a new band and getting it serviced as turning the crown to adjust the time its not as easy as it used to be.

    Here is it .... any info on this one from you guys would be interesting !

    Even though Seikos are thought to be bullet proof, they're no different to an Omega or a Breguet where cleaning and lubrication are concerned.

    If you intend to wear it then get it serviced and fit a new strap of the correct size.
