For sale is my vintage 1967 Rolex Oyster Perpetual reference 1018, the slimmer cousin to the Explorer 1016, with 36mm stainless-steel case, smooth bezel, and silvered dial in lovely condition. The case has versatile 20mm drilled lugs, screw-down signed crown, and is powered by the classic Rolex 1570 movement. Tritium lumed hands and lume dots (all present) have aged with a nice cream patina. Late 1967 date consistent with 1,7XX,XXX serial and case back dated IV.67. Previous owner says it was serviced last summer, consistent with June 2018 case back marking. Service did a fine job, as this 52-year old watch is running at -1 or -2/s per day face up in the box (on the wrist YMMV). Comes on a new Fluco suede strap with box, no papers. $3099 shipped to US only. No trades, please. Payment via bank wire or Venmo (or PayPal from buyers with established history, fees negotiable). I've had 250+ good transactions on this and other watch forums and eBay feedback is available under the same username (where I've had 2000+ positive transactions). No returns unless the condition of the watch is materially misrepresented.
