1967 Longines cal 284 caseback information sought

    Dear OF,

    I’ve owned this 1967 manual wind 33mm diameter 9 carat watch for some time but would appreciate your expertise on deciphering the snap on caseback, particularly the following markings;

    DS & S
    Baume (as in why is Baume stamped in a Longines caseback) and
    63880

    Baume was th importer of Longines in England and DS&S ( David Sutton & Sons) is the case manufacturer.
