For sale is my 1967 Breitling Navitimer 806. It’s a gorgeous watch and a nice example of the reference. The watch was purchased from the original owner’s family. The dial is in beautiful shape, with some of the red items (box around 10, etc.) on the dial fading to an even orange. Hands are original, with the hour hand missing its lume. I do not know the service history. I planned to send it to Craig at Chronodeco to service and fix the lume in the hour hand, but he has a several month backlog and I never made it to the top of the list. Watch functions and keeps time. Comes on the gently used 22mm strap that you see pictured. Pricing is $2,650 net to me via Paypal or Chase Quickpay. Shipping via FedEx with Parcelpro is included in the US, international at cost. I can send references, they are also available in the seller feedback section of this forum. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. Thanks!
I know a great former mod from another forum that might still be looking for a birth year (1968) watch like this. I'm going to email him the link. Further conversation / details via PM if necessary.
Dennis - I think I actually goofed in the title, Breitling doesn't seem to have good serial number by year tables, but others I have found for sale list this range as a 1967. I will update.
Thanks for the update. You are correct about Breitling's serial numbers - no perfect table exists. It's safe to assume that a movement serial number for 1967 was inside a watch fully assembled in 1968 or 1969. It's a nice example no matter what year it's from.
