Not looking to sell, only interested in trades. 1.4m serial ref 1675 Rolex GMT gilt dial. Dial: Original gilt with full lume plots. Dial lacquer has blisters as pictured, and has the starry night effect. Still has mirror effect as seen in video. Case: Thick and even lugs and crown guards, evidence of light polishing and honest wear. Serial and reference numbers are clear. Hands/Crown/Crystal: Original handset with small arrow has light corrosion and was relumed with period tritium mix so that it matches in color and under a black light by LAWW. Crown is correct and screws down tightly on tube. Crystal is new OEM Rolex. Movement: Correct and running well, no service history known. Bezel Insert: faded red back or near perfect red back. Bracelet: Period correct, but later 1968 C+I rivet with 11 links and little stretch. Looking for matte dial Rolex trades or other interesting vintage pieces. No interest in Speedmasters unless collector grade, and no interest in $8-12k pieces of any kind. PM or email watchknut AT gmail.com IG Video: https://instagram.com/p/BjfUg2WnnVA/
WOW, This looks like what TUDOR copied to achieve the new 79830RB GMT! How cool ! Tudor has a modern iteration of the Rolex dial design and colors, dots, sticks, & triangle for indices, date in same position. Understated blue & white bezel insert...sword style minute hand, lume all about...Tudor thankfully left off the magnifier. Real Rolex rivets on the bracelet are decorations to mimic them on the new Tudor. It is so nice to see where the inspiration came from. Wow. THANKS FOR THIS POST! GLWT !
