·For your consideration is this absolutely stunning vintage 1966 Rolex Submariner 5513.
Serial: 120XXXX
Dial: The super glossy Gilt dial is near flawless with amazing creamy patina. The lume plots are puffy and in superb shape with only the 10 o'clock plot showing a tiny ding. (can hardly be seen with the naked eye when the watch is worn due to the curve of the original dome plexi).
The dial surface is nearly flawless.
Hands: Original Rolex Gilt hands have been relumed by LA Watchworks using the original material left in the minute & sweep hands and mixed back into the new compound.
Case: Thick and even showing factory chamfers. Appears to be unpolished. Crisp & legible reference & serial numbers. The case shows some wear, (Please refer to pictures).
Bezel & Insert: Sharp original bezel with original "Long 5" insert with Tritium dot present.
Bracelet: Original Rolex 7206 rivet bracelet with 80 end links. Bracelet dated to 1965 (3/65). Bracelet is in great shape. Shows only minor stretch.
Movement: Very clean Rolex Cal 1520 is running and keeping excellent time. Just serviced by LA Watchworks and comes with a 1-year service warranty.
Accessories: None.
Notes: This is one of the nicest 5513 Gilt Submariners currently on offer anywhere. The dial on this watch is absolutely stunning. It has become extremely difficult to find any Gilt dial Rolex with such a nicely preserved dial. They are mostly all buggered up, scratched, or have badly deteriorated lume plots. This one is absolutely stunning.
