·What I have here is a beautiful, serviced 1966 1018. The 1018 is a very uncommon reference, it is essentially a 36mm Oyster Perpetual. It has a case that is similar in profile to that of a 1016 explorer, but slightly thinner and with a 5.3mm crown. This one has a case that is really nice and thick and free of corrosion. The case engravings are all legible. It has a NOS dial and relumed (no glow) hands, so it looks so stunning in person. Comes on new Italian leather strap. I have two 1018’s and this is my better one!
Case: thick in great condition with no corrosion
Dial: mint with all lume plots in tact
Hands: great condition, relumed (no glow)
Crown: great condition, screws down tight
Crystal: acrylic with no cracks
Movement: non hacking 1570 keeping good time.
