First of all, to talk a bit about my skillset, I'm by no means a professional, but I'm very gentle, I use an air lifter to remove hands so the dial isn't touched. I've started working on watches because I was very afraid of watchmakers hurting my gentle/patinated dialed watches. Up to this point I've worked on more than 10 550 series watches on a span of 2 years. I have many donor movements, so instead of fixing parts, I just replace them.

Trying to break even with this watch, working on it was very fun. I built this for myself along with another gilt dial Seamaster. Decided to only use the smaller one. I replaced so many parts including the complete balance assembly and complete auto assembly. Originally it had rotor rub, I've fixed the original cause but the assembly wasn't in good shape either, so replaced it. The original balance had a beat issue, so replaced that one as well. It's completely disassembled, cleaned and assembled.

The patina in my opinion is very uniform, what the watch could use is a new crystal at one point
