For your consideration is this superb 1966 Omega Speedmaster Professional ref: 105.012-65

    Serial: 24.00X.XXX

    Condition report:

Dial: This example sports a near perfect "Close T" dial. The patina is just stunning. Tritium plots are in excellent+ shape and only show minor degradation. A tiny hand drag mark is showing on the running seconds subdial between 30 & 45.
Hands: Original Tritium hands in excellent shape.
Case: Asymmetrical MKI case. Case is unpolished and sharp with well defined edges.
Crown & pushers: Original Fat Neck pushers & "Flat-Foot" crown.
Bezel: Clean "DON" (Dot Over Ninety) TACHYMETRE bezel in very good condition. Only shows minor wear as shown in pictures.
Bracelet: Omega 1506 dated to the 4th quarter 1966 with #16 end links.
Movement: Omega Cal 321. Freshly serviced and running strong.

Accessories: Omega Extract Of The Archives.

Notes: The Speedmaster Professional reference 105.012-65 is arguably the most important reference of them all as it is the exact same one used by the Apollo XI astronauts on their historic mission. Such a lovely crisp example of this reference is hard to find, and for the true Speedmaster enthusiast such prime example of the "True Moonwatch" is not to be missed!

This watch was sold, and lost by FedEx while in route to the buyer...:(
Parcel Pro insurance fully covered for the loss, but still a bummer that this stellar example is MIA... The full serial of this Omega Speedmaster 105.012-65 is 24.005.332 in case it surfaces somewhere at some point...

    What a bummer!!

And so sorry for both the seller and the customer,
the poor fellow (buyer) must be crying rivers now?
First the thrill of searching and finding a lovely watch, then the deal, and finally waiting for arrival!

    :(
