Is it usual for the MEISTER lettering to be worse affected over time than the Speedmaster writing?

    Looks great to me though

Looks great. Even better with the DoN back in place.

Personally I don't think the dual branding adds any value. Certainly not more than 10%.

    For value check out http://speedmaster101.com/price-chart-2/

I know dealers love to ask for much more, but I'm not convinced they sell for much more. perhaps I'm wrong but I don't like the additional signing. Why would I want a jewellery chain branded across the front of my tool watch? Doesn't add anything IMO.

Have you found any examples of double branded Omegas selling for more than their single branded
    Counterparts?

Someone struggled for quite a while here back in the summer trying to sell a '66 Meister. It sure did not command the premium asked over a 'regular' '66.

I may be wrong but always thought that those co branded dial like for rolex and tiffany did command a premium, just a matter of rarity i guess...Maybe that is the reason why the one sold by christies fetched 14k ...Anyone?::shy::

What info are you looking for? It's a period correct dial, with aftermarket MEISTER branding added for sale in one of their stores.

Are you just waiting for someone to tell you it's worth twice as much as a 'normal' 68 is similar condition?

I think Tiffany a world respected brand has cross over potential hence the Tiffany bump on Rolex. Tiffany on an Omega would have less bump if they existed.

Saw this on sale on eBay for several months. Now sure if OP bought it, or is a seller (same pics used as in eBay ad) I also remember BIN was something ridiculous. I would much rather have one without any extra lettering, as it keeps beautiful dial cleaner and you can see more of it.

By the way, it is a 1966 not 68
Of course not David, comments like this are the ones we don't need...

More information would be something a little more constructive like, productions numbers, years of productions...

    Haters will always hate!

I'm not hating anything but it's hard to give you specifics if you don't specify what you're hoping to find out.

I mentioned value as that was the only thing you mentioned in your original post.

Like I said, I don't think these command a significant premium over standard models as there just doesn't appear to be a significantly greater demand for them (over standard 105.012's).

What has your research uncovered so far? I seem to remember @speedy4ever commenting on these dual branded Speedmasters in a previous post.

I understand your point, but asking if I am expecting double the value is a little aggressive...

Anyway, so far I saw like little information, besides the one on christies auction, there was one on eBay, but I'm almost sure was a scam, sold for $25k or someone was laundering money.

I also discovered that this one was shipped out to Switzerland in 1967.

And also there's just a few known, a lot of constellations with the meister dial, but speedmasters are scarse.

Certainly possible, the printing on the Omega Speedmaster dial is higher quality

Clearly, the potential value of the additional Meister on the dial depends on whether you are selling it or buying it.
