For sale is a 1966 Seamaster 166.010 with a 565 movement. The watch was last serviced in January 2019 at Ayase Opt in Tokyo. NEW: Sale now includes beads of rice (BOR) bracelet. As is evident from the dial photos, the face has developed an even pebbling, which never bothered me. I bought the watch on impulse because I found myself with a BOR bracelet that didn’t go with any watches I had. I figured I’d pair it with this 166.010 and then sell it, but what happened was I became a huge fan of this style of watch. They just look impeccable on your wrist. It’s a timeless design and if I didn’t happen to buy another one on yet another impulse (and then, unrelatedly, having to replace my work computer) I would not be selling this one. The watch will be delivered with this spiffy and almost unworn leather strap with an Omega buckle + 1036 BOR bracelet.
