·Up for grabs is a Universal Geneve Polerouter Sub in steel
Steel, automatic, 38mm watch with date and screw down caseback.
Serial number dates the watch between 1963 and 1965 production. Given that the bracelet is stamped 1.65, I will take it early '65 production or possible late '64.
Excellent vintage condition case with no major dings or dents. No corrosion or pitting. Nicely defined lugs. Original UG winding crown.
Dial is in very good vintage condition. Appears all original. No relume or refinish. Hands are original. Original date disk with open 6's and 9's.
Bezel has a very attractive vintage look to it in person. Shows plenty of aging and wear and has faded to a "ghost gray" color.
Caseback is in very good vintage condition. Serial number is still clearly visible. Inside stampings are correct and present.
Bracelet is original UG semi-stretchable steel bracelet made by Gay Freres. Original UG logo on clasp and date stamp 1/65.
No box or papers. No documented service history. A service is recommended if you are buying to wear on daily basis.
