·Hi all,
Still a green member on this forum. I found this 1965 Rolex Oyster Perpetual that is similar to one that slique12
put on the private sales forum a while ago.
I am NOT interested in buying it, as I have recently bought an Omega Connie and my partner will leave me if I buy two watches in one summer.
However, my knowledge is limited on Vintage Rolex's so I thought it would be useful to see what your opinions are on this piece. It is the kind of thing I would buy in a year or two.
So far it seems legit with the sunburst dial, engine-turned bezel and dauphine hands. My comment would be that there seems to be a part replacement (1002 caseback).
Here is the eBay link for those who would be interested in buying it,
