I recently came across this watch on ebay, the seller stated that it has been recently serviced and will offer 1 year warranty after purchase. But the crystal of the watch has some fine surface scuffs and its a "non quickset version"? I was wondering what that means. He offers this watch for $643. The movement seema to be a bit dirty but as an old watch i think thats acceptable?. What do you guys think?

Sorry apparently ebay doesnt let you get a good picture unless you downloaded the app... Here are the pictures again.

I noticed there are spots on the face and the hands are somewhat rusted. Is that something to be concerned about?

The case has been fairly heavily polished and there appear to be a couple good size dings on the back, movement looks a bit grubby, plus the dial issues you noticed yourself.

No bargain.

I'd wait for a better example.

I recently bought a watch from this seller. The cosmetic issues for the watch you're interested are up for you to decide on. The pic of the movement, however, may have been before service. Mine has kept excellent time for the last four months, and you will get paperwork for the one year warranty.

Either way, I hope you find a good one.
