This rare watch just recently arrived in my collection. Very early 1963 Seamaster 300 from Italy with the Dauphine hands and watch number 203XXX01. Beautiful patin and with the so called "golden dial". All original together with only the crown replaced and the clasp of the bracelet. Even the original papers came with the watch! Enjoy the pictures. I am looking for the correct box, do you know what box belong to this watch?

Very pretty dial. I did not know those hands were correct for any 165.024?
    Do you have the rotor?

    Thanks for sharing.

Very nice watch. I did not know that those early dials come without a tritium marker. Is the dial relumed? I would love to see a couple more pictures.

    Enjoy your watch

Thanks for the nice comments. The watch is all original, no relumed dial. Only in 1963 there were dials without the "T" markings. When you compare my dial with the new ones you see big differences. The dauphine hands were also only in 1963 used on the 165.024 (Italian version).
My watch has just been fully serviced by an vintage expert, here some more pictures.

Again what learned. I didn't know that those hands were correct.

    Your watch is very cool!
