As explained in my previous sales post I am halving the size of my collection to release some cash and this piece is one of the more minty ones I have available - my 9k gold 1963 Cortebert.

A little bit of an less famous brand but in this condition when I had to opportunity to buy it made a lot of sense to me and I am sure the collectors on this site too.

Dial: As we can see the dial is blemish free and immaculate. If is a joy to wear on a summers day as it captures the light beautifully. The hands too are quite lovely and an unusual shape.

Case: There is nothing more enjoyable that a sharp case and this one is just that, which is rare for solid gold cases and something flat makes this one very special indeed. It measures 34mm across and has 18mm lugs - the perfect dress watch size! Clearly there are some marks commensurate with age but it is nonetheless very good honest condition.

Movement: Although not serviced this is watching very well and shows no signs of any significant problems. However like all vintage watch purchases I would recommend a service - although this is up to your discretion. I have not tested for accuracy.

Caseback: This is another part that makes this watch special a beautiful engraving dating the watch to 1963, as a gift for an employees service to Ericsson Telecoms.

Wrist strap: Brand new old stock 70s Genuine lizard strap by hirsch.

Price: £450 (including international shipping) or near offer

Feedback: bought from @JohnSteed and have over 300 feedback on eBay (oliverrees) And also on amazon marketplace.

Open to fair offers bearing in mind the condition of this watch and the scrap value I think it is fairly priced but am looking to raise cash so will consider all offers.

Any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

Thank you Omegaforums for the platform to sell.
