For sale is a 1962 Omega Seamaster ref. 14763, powered by the Omega Cal. 562 automatic movement.
This example has a 35mm gold-capped case, original dial, original thin scalloped Omega crown, and original Omega plexi crystal. The movement was freshly serviced in May 2026 and is running well.
A simple and honest vintage Seamaster with good wrist presence.
Condition
Dial: Original dial in good condition. There is some light aging and small spotting visible under close inspection, but it presents cleanly on the wrist. Applied Omega logo and applied hour markers are in good condition.
Case: 35mm gold-capped case. The case is original and unpolished, with scratches from use and a few small dents/dings on the sides. The lugs still have good shape. Please see photos for the condition.
Caseback: Stainless steel caseback with Seamaster hippocampus medallion. There is a visible scratch on the caseback, shown clearly in the photos.
Crystal: Original Omega plexi crystal.
Crown: Original thin scalloped Omega crown.
Movement: Omega Cal. 562 automatic movement.
Freshly serviced in May 2026. There is no receipt, but close-up movement photos and current timegrapher results are included. During the service, the case and bracelet were ultrasonically cleaned, the plexie crystal was polished to reduce scratches, and the movement was fully disassembled, cleaned, oiled, reassembled, and regulated. No parts were replaced during the service, and a new gasket was installed.
Serial dates the watch to around 1962.
Strap: Aftermarket brown leather strap.
