Hello,

Been a while since I posted anything here. I have been wanting to acquire another linen dial Seamaster watch (I gave my old one to my ex-fiance). I spotted this one on eBay, (quite expensive in my opinion, given that my one before was around $500) The only thing I'm still unsure about are the hands. This one shows index, but I have seen some examples with dauphine instead. It has some scratches as someone tried to open it and failed, and also the top left lung is a bit bent. Its going for GBP 719 or $900. What do you guys think? Overall a good watch? I found one that sold here for 699 euros in 2018 but it was silver, not golden. I prefer golden but for that price....🤨 maybe?

Have a good day and thanks for reading!

It looks fine to me, but far too expensive for a gold filled manual winder IMO, even with a fancy dial. You should pay less for a gold filled/plated watch than for a stainless steel watch (or "silver", as you call it).

Maybe your ex-fiance will send the old one back to you if you ask nicely. Do you have any of their possessions to trade? 😁

She will never give that watch up. It doesn't matter she is 99% of the time using her iwatch instead for spinning, barre, and yoga. She knows that's the only sexy decent watch she will ever own. Also, she knows that if she has it, it means I don't have it. I guess I will wait and see if sometime comes up for sale here in the forum. Gracias for you input amigo.
