All this talk of Seiko's has got me wondering. Here is one for sale by a local collector that looks interesting. Anyone here knowledgeable enough to comment? My concerns are that: There is no picture of the movement. In fact I have not seen the movement for any Seiko ad. Is that common? Perhaps they are front loading? If there is a problem, then from what I understanding, servicing something this old is nearly impossible, parts wise. Any vintage Seiko experts here on OF? They are asking USD $335.
I’d be careful about buying a vintage Seiko without a movement pic. I would hazard to guess parts availablity is an issue. FYI, here is a sold example with a movement picture, Good luck with the hunt. http://antiquewatchat.blogspot.com/2015/02/seiko-crown-diashock-21-jewels-07.html
