Hello!

What's a good price to pay for this watch in the following condition?
Also, do all the parts look right for the year?

Thank you all in advance 馃榾

Oh oh...

So: Google the reference you see in the caseback, 168.029. You'll see it's a completely different watch. Note the C-shaped case of the 168.029, while yours, with those angular lugs, is called "dogleg" and will be either a 14902 or a 168.005. It's impossible to tell, because it's been tampered with badly. Either way, the caseback and the rest of the watch dont belong together.

The dial was repainted, which means any value to collectors is gone. The case was heavily polished, thus destroying the characteristic angular lines, edges and bevels of this reference. The crown is incorrect, the hands are either heavily corroded or never matched the indices in the first place. The movement somehow looks like it was treated with a chisel.

I don't see anything on this watch that I'd still consider desirable - not even for spares. Sorry for the bad news, but I'd stay well clear of this example.

Don't pay too much, maybe $2-300 USD if you like it.

Address the heavy rotor wear at service before you wear it.

To add some pictures for you to compare the shape of the cases. Ignore the material for now:

168.029:

Vs 14902 (168.005 look basically identical)
