Beautiful Constellation, congrats! For straps I recommend previously mentioned Rios, Fluco and Camille Fournet too. Also Colareb and Molequin are excellent. And Welsbro, but if you are not in North America, the wait for delivery can be...long.
I myself stay far from Hirsch as I have yet to find a good Hirsch that doesn't feel like a branch of wood wrapped around my wrist.

I know the feeling! Until I inherited my Connie vintage watches had passed me by. Now I'm addicted and spend way to much time browsing auction sites while the other half watches love Island or whatever the latest trash TV is. And she calls me sad??? Go figure!

I found this Connie last night but a bit rich for me. Currently £750 but will be nearer £1k with auction fees.

Looks fairly legit but not convinced by the G on the omega? More likely just paranoia 😉

I am a fan of the Hirsch Croco too, you may find this a bit loud but I think it goes well with the silver.

Those are legit, but new style. The part number I cited is for one of these:

Sorry for the crappy pic. 😀 You can order it directly from Omega.
Any idea how to go about ordering this direct from omega? It's not available on their website. Do I need to go via someone with an Omega account?

Depends on where you are. Use the "contact us" form on your country's Omega site and ask for the phone number for ordering.

Pic below shows the complete part number.

That’s good to know. I didn’t realise Omega release ‘old’ logo buckles. How much are they?

That Connie was in my watchlist for weeks and I had a bid before the auction started. I thought my bid was reasonable and had a chance but I was over £400 short, without fees!

People seem to be going nuts for crosshairs at the minute but still, expensive for a dome dial imo

I don't remember. This was a few yeas ago and likely wouldn't be the same anyways.

That’s a good price. I think vintage ones are maybe £75 so that’s good to know.
