Hello Everyone. I'm pretty new to the forum and very new to Omega watches. However I'm quite taken with the classic looks of some of the things I have seen on here and other places. I'm following an ebay sale of a Seamaster 600. To me it looks like the dial has been refinished. Especially when you take a look at the hour marks. Seems that some of them aren't very crisp. Am I correct? Also any other issues you may see? http://www.ebay.com/itm/271391193511?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
It's a redial. The original probably didn't even look like that, but many sellers have them redone in that pattern because they can trick a n00b into paying big bucks if they mistake it for the more expensive dive watches with real original dials like that.
Not only redial but wrong crown and hands. That case back is messed up too, it's been refinished poorly.
There's a nice Seamaster on the sales forum right now: http://omegaforums.net/threads/stai...r-unishell-caliber-570-reference-14725.10404/
