Intro: Up for sale (or trade) is a lovely 1960s Omega Constellation Reference 14393. Originally purchased in Dec 2022 from @seekingseaquest and was one of my first vintage Omegas, but I have since falling out of love with a date window on my vintage watches. Mostly because I own too many at this point, so the typical I'm too anal to leave them not set and it can be annoying to set them, even with the 9/12 or 11/12 sweep tricks

Dial: Original crosshair dial. Same condition as when I got it as it was stored loving in a watch box. Pictures should reflect the same subtle patina. Hands and hardware are stainless.

Case: 34.5mm Stainless Steel case, ref 14393-9-SC sharp, unpolished condition. Bevels and medallion both sharp and visible. Small ding in bezel near 1 o'clock lug but it isn't really visible to the naked eye so I added a 2x + 10x loupe enlargement photo.

Crown:
Original thin scalloped crown.

Crystal:
Signed crystal, believed to be the original.

Movement:
Cal. 561 automatic still runs strong. 244xxxxx serial dates it to 1966 and as part of testing at the time, was noted to be in a series that was rated with "particular good results". Link to article: here. See English translation in pics.

Strap: Comes on brown strap as pictured with generic buckle. I might have others if you are not interested in this one, or you can have it "head only" if you so desire.

Price: Price is $1300, shipped, prefer domestic only. Bank transfer/Wise preferred. Returns are not accepted unless the watch is grossly misrepresented. Watch located in USA. I would consider a trade for a no date version of this watch, or similar, in comparable condition.

Special details: I've never sold anything here but I feel I've been a solid buyer making great conversation by sliding into the DMs of some of your most prolific posters. My buyer reviews can be found <here>. I've been a member of eBay for 23 years with a solid buying and selling history over those years: here. I've also had a couple of private transactions via the r/WatchExchange subreddit under u/revzman.

Saturday bump with an extra pic of the stainless steel hardware and tons of reflections. Honestly, though, I think the closer the pics the worse any watch looks. LOL
