New to the forum and also to watch collecting.
Over the recent months I've been considering purchasing a vintage Seamaster, especially those of 64/65.

Could someone please give me some tips on what to look for when purchasing a watch such as this. Any signs that it may be a fake or in bad condition that I should keep an eye out for ?

Spend time reading this forum. Look at the "recommended on eBay" thread. Look at the "worst redial" thread. Look at the "don't fall for a fake vintage omega" thread. That should give you an idea of what to avoid. Then, if you find something you like, post it here for people to comment on.

 

Thanks, just spent the majority of my day searching watches and reading articles/posts on this forum..... I can see this is going to become addictive !
