Asking $350 shipped US Up for sale is a 60s Bulova Alarm watch. Nice original dial and aged hands. Case is in pretty good condition. Dial has some little marks by the center of the dial but cannot be seen most of the time when the hands are moving around the dial. The watch runs ok but the service history is unknown, it was part of an estate sale. If you have any questions feel free to pm me! The alarm function works by pulling out the second crown. Crowns are also signed Bulova.
GLWYJS! That has to be record time for a sale... under 22 minutes? Had I seen it when it posted, it would have been even less! Congrats...
Caseback is just a 2 part screwback caseback - the outer ring is unscrewed and the middle piece comes out.
Thank you for your sensible reply to a frivolous observation - I thought the deep scratches were evidence of a clumsy attempt to explore the movement with an inappropriate tool, doesn't detract from the piece for me though
That's definitely an improvement in their caseback design. I have a slightly older one of these, and after opening it (snap-back ring), neither my watchmaker nor me could get it closed again. He still has it, because now he has to replace the crown/stem which broke in his attempt to get it closed. I think it's not easy finding the signed crowns, because it has been awhile. Then he has to figure out how to close it again!
