Hi, I came across this watch on Timely Classics. This is my first vintage purchase and any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you very much.

 

Not bad, except the price is about a hundred high IMO. It is serviced though.

 

Thanks for the info on price. By the responses it doesn't see like that nice of a piece. Guess I should keep looking

 

It's a decent watch. We'd just like it better at a price more in the usual range.

I think you make the right decision, it's better to wait for a better one. The 570 movement is not as good as the 55X and the dial is less than perfect.
