14755 -1 reference with cal. 552 automatic movement. Early patent pending reference
182603XX serial number circa approximately 1961
Case is in excellent vintage condition. No corrosion or pitting. Nicely defined lugs.
Dial is original radium 3-6-9 with very dark patina. Dial shows some aging/spotting, but has no corrosion, scratching or tool marks. Marked SWISS MADE on bottom. Hands are original. Bakelite bezel insert is missing as common with these.
Caseback is original with very crisp engraving. Inside of caseback is stamped 14755 - 1 PATENT PENDING SC
Comes as head only
Cal. 552 movement is in excellent physical condition. No documented service history. Watch has just received new OEM crystal, crown and gaskets at ABC Watchwerks in L.A.
