Up for sale is my all original, steel 1959 Omega Seamaster ref 14765 cal. 552.
The watch is in fair condition but has a rotor rub issue which will need to be sorted before daily wear.
Dial: Nice dial on the wrist, but has a few marks, notably between 7' and 8' o clock and some light marks to the center. The 9' o clock marker has a small indentation.
The hands show some oxidation but are in good condition.
Case: Nice clean case that has seen polish throughout, while still maintaining some nice lines. The left and right side of the case show some damage from improper case opening. The caseback has been polished but maintains a strong logo. The crystal is generic and the crown is an older service replacement (I would guess pre-80's).
Movement: I did have the watch serviced in October 2021 by my watchmaker, but the watch came back with some rotor rubbing (my watchmaker attempted a fix with no success) so I am selling it as if it hasn't been serviced. The movement is clean and runs well, however.
Photos were taken before the service.
The watch will come fitted on a lightly worn Hirsch Merino strap.
I am asking $550USD ($715cad net to me); shipping cost TBD.
