I am thinking of buying one of those "fine" Chinese beads of rice bracelets. Question - which end pieces do I need for the case? The watch has a calibre 551.

Thank you kindly!

I can’t imagine using a cheap bracelet on a nice Constellation. Personally I’d go with an Omega 5 row beads of rice with the correct curved Endlinks.

Without knowing which specific bracelet you’re referring to, it’s hard to say anything about the Endlinks other than “the curved ones”.

I agree and I have never done that before. The thing is though, I prefer leather (with original buckle needless to say) and steel I would only wear in July and August - for that matter, prices are too high. There is a good possibility that the cheap alternative is crap and I would simply trash it, no serious damage done. "You never get to taste the food until you order it".

A legit Omega BoR bracelet isn't too expensive. Even a decent aftermarket bracelet is more than $100. Just buy a real one. If you don't use it, you can easily sell it to someone else. Anything you spend on a crappy bracelet is just money down the drain.

The bracelet and ending combo SOG53 mentioned are on ebay right now. $310 after shipping, then add tax. They say this is a nearly unworn example. Looks like worn examples of just the bracelet are $200.

If a crappy version is 100, I'd get the real thing with these prices.

You can find a 5 row beads of rice with Endlinks for around 200£/$.

That said if you want a generic, I’m not sure you have many options with Endlinks. As far as I’m aware most are just straight or curved ends. That’s it.

Thanks for that, I have seen a price of $ 200 just for the end pieces, over $ 500 for a complete bracelet and that I though was high and I am not desperate. Someone here offered one at a fair price and I am thinking about that.

$500 + 200 is obscene. I have a five row plus end pieces of sell for £180 but I’m in the UK so the tariffs will make US shipping difficult.

Thanks Davidt, that was on eBay, a band with end pieces for +/- $ 500 and another seller for end pieces alone for +/- $ 200 from my memory and I thought both were crazy. I used to have a Constellation with that band and always wanted that band for my present Constellation, but it is not a top priority for me. While at it though, I might a well go through with it. Thanks to this Forum, now I know what I am looking for.
I am located in Germany, actually I bought my Constellation from the UK in 2009. Those were the good old pre-Brexit days and now it is better for me to buy in the US, because it can be shipped to one of my daughters living there.

I just finished purchasing a bracelet and endlinks for 2852 on Ebay for under $300US... from my recent research that seemed reasonable. My bracelet is arriving on Tuesday so I'll post so u can see. By the way I wrote the seller and he had said he was going to list another... he goes by OmegaAddict on Ebay. Super responsive and has tons of feedback.

The drilled lugs didn't help much with the install?

That does look like a perfect fit, very nice and I have experienced the same putting these bands on, can take a littel while. But now I am slightly confused: What would be the original end links, this #70 or BOR 8220/11? The difference I can see is the latter is curved down between the lugs. I'd say both look nice, I can imagine a problem if #70 is not completely flush, like wearing out shirts.

5-row bracelets are generally considered period correct for this watch; 7-row bracelets (as pictured) were introduced later.
