For sale or trade is a beautiful Omega Seamaster Calendar featuring an original black gilt dial and attractive yellow gold arrowhead markers. The original, non-refinished dial is in very nice condition with only a few small marks near the center and one missing lume plot (12). The original 2849 reference stainless steel case is unpolished, in very nice condition, and features a big logo hippocampus case back that was only used in 1958. The original 503 caliber movement runs, winds, and sets well, but service history is unknown so a service is recommended prior to regular use. Price is $1,650 OBO.

Additional details are below, and feel free to reach out with any questions.

Dial: The original black gilt dial is in very nice condition and features beautiful yellow gold arrowhead markers. The dial is nice but not perfect - it has a few small marks near center (hard to see in most lighting) and is missing the lume plot at 12. The radium lume on the rest of the dial and on the hands is largely intact and has developed a nice color. "Swiss Made" is present below the 6 marker as expected.

Case: The original 34.5mm 2849-8 reference stainless steel case is in very nice condition. The case has no significant wear and appears to be unpolished, with sharp bevels on the lugs. The big logo hippocampus case back (only used in 1958) is also in very nice condition.

Crown: Original flat-foot logo clover crown is in nice condition.

Crystal: Original signed crystal was recently installed (Edit: I had previously incorrectly stated that this was a generic crystal but had forgotten that this one got an original signed one!).

Movement: Original 503 caliber automatic movement runs, winds, and sets well. However, service history is unknown so a service is recommended prior to regular use. Serial number dates the watch to 1958.

Strap: Comes on a generic 18mm black leather strap with a generic steel buckle.
Edit: BOR bracelet is not included. However, I may have a spare that I could sell separately.

Price is $1,650 OBO. Open to trades for non-radium 50s or early 60s Seamasters, Constellations, Geneves, Conquests, and Flagships (see my WTB/WTT here). I'll cover insured US shipping, international shipping is available but to be discussed with buyer. PayPal is preferred for US buyers, and Transferwise is preferred for international buyers. OF seller reviews are here. Returns are accepted if watch is grossly misrepresented. Watch is located in Seattle, WA, USA.

Phil doesn’t need my endorsement but I have bought two watches from him (a 1960s GP Gyromatic and a 1954 354 bumper) and have been very happy with both.
