The problem is that I never seem to have $70k in spare cash sitting around when I really need it. Damn kids … Stunning watch.

 

It's great to see one of these made available aside from an auction and at a price that is very reasonable. The bezels also look great. I'm sorely tempted, but I've been on a recent spending spree...and I have a pair much like it cluttering up the bank box already. Hopefully it will find a good home without requiring someone sell their home to cover the cost.

It's staggering to think you could just about trade two contemporary Speedmasters with the cartoon dog dial for this amazing piece.

 

I agree -- kind of crazy to think that any handful of modern pieces could add up to something like this. I hope it finds a good home too!
