Dear all. I am hereby selling an Omega Seamaster Calendar cal. 503, ref. 2849 in gold cap. I bought this a few years ago and have never worn it and it is a somewhat worn example, but not without potential. The dial is silver with some greenish spotting. Lume is present on the dial, but missing on the hands. Crystal is an Omega marked replacement and the crown is a correct Omega cloverleaf crown. The 34mm gold capped case is worn and polished and there are some areas on the lugs that are polished through - I've tried capturing this on the below photo. Note that it is quite faint and you'd have to look for it to notice it. The caseback is the version with the big hippocampus, the best looking of the three variants available on this reference. There are a few service marks on the inside of the caseback, though I have no knowledge of recent work. The watch winds and sets, but I have no idea of timekeeping. The date changes at 12 o'clock. I realise this is far from a safe queen, but a watch obviously well used through its life. I'd like to see €265 shipping included for this via bank transfer, which should leave some room for a service.
