Hi, I was following this and almost pulled the pin on it. I thought it would go for quite a bit more. Was $608 a very good price or was that reasonable for the shape it was in? Thanks.... so much to learn!

Ok, thanks for the info. I would rather have a really nice watch so I guess I will have to pay more which is fine. The problem is finding one that I want. Ah well....patience

 

I am looking at this too. The problem is the dial in bad shape. You need to spend another 200 - 300 plus watchmaker fee to replace with NOS dial. This pie pan is not uncommon, so many will pop up (including in our FS section) and just keep looking. Good luck.....

but perfect dial on a 2852 is uncommon.
Most have lacquer pitting spots. That's just
what you get with these. Doesn't bother me
if the case is sharp because I think the case
shape of these is the best of all the Connie's.
This one went for $780. Great bargain IMHO

 

Now there's a bezel you can slice tomatos on.
